Migration of sites from Cellnex to WIG
On 24 October 2022 Wireless Infrastructure Group (WIG) announced the acquisition of a portfolio of approximately 1,100 wireless infrastructure assets from Cellnex UK Limited (Cellnex).
Site agreements now vest in a WIG group company called UK Tower Infrastructure Limited (UKTI), and if you are a landlord of one of the 1,100 sites Cellnex may have already been in touch with you to assign the agreement to UKTI.
The sites are being migrated between Cellnex and WIG in a controlled and phased manner through the course of 2023 where we are seeking to uphold the interests of our new landlords and customers alike.
What happens next?
Cellnex and WIG will write to all landlords individually in due course to advise you of when the site is due to be migrated, introducing you to WIG, and setting out your new key points of contact.
