EdCity is a unique partnership between Hammersmith and Fulham Council and ARK, created to deliver a vibrant education and community hub that brings together schools, charities and social enterprises under one roof. Designed to inspire collaboration and support lifelong learning, the development combines modern educational facilities, flexible office space and community amenities to foster an innovative and connected environment.

The challenge

Located in White City, an area notoriously poor for mobile signal, EdCity’s newly constructed buildings had poor mobile coverage penetrating indoors. This created significant challenges for tenants, staff and students, disrupting their ability to make and receive calls, access essential digital applications and work or study effectively. For an organisation striving to achieve WiredScore Platinum accreditation, a mark of excellence in digital connectivity and smart building infrastructure, providing indoor mobile signal was a top priority.
