About the role
Due to the continued growth of our Data and Systems function, WIG requires a methodical and detail-oriented Data Coordinator to support the team in maintaining high-quality data, ensuring accuracy across our systems, and contributing to the ongoing development of our reporting and data governance processes.
Location of work
The role is office based.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and upload data into a range of internal systems, ensuring consistency, completeness, and adherence to data standards.
- Conduct gap analysis and routine data quality checks, identifying discrepancies and recommending improvements where needed.
- Monitor ongoing data integrity across systems and support the development of improved data governance practices.
- Support the production of reports and presentations, using both Excel and PowerPoint to provide clear, accurate and well-structured outputs.
- Provide administrative support to the Commercial Team, including updating records and tracking actions.
- Take ownership of small-scale data improvement projects, following a structured and methodical approach from initiation through to delivery.
Experience and skills required
We are looking for a detailed orientated and methodical individual with a strong work ethic and a solution focused approach. You will ideally have experience in a similar data focused or administrative role, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and support the needs of a busy Data and Systems function.
- Strong IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Excel (with working knowledge of PivotTables), PowerPoint, and general data analysis tools.
- Experience preparing, managing or validating data in a systems driven environment, with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build positive working relationships and engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information in a structured and comprehensible manner.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, stay methodical in approach and maintain attention to detail at all times.
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and responding to evolving team or project needs.
