About the role

The Network Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Day 2 operations of Wireless Infrastructure Group networks within buildings throughout the USA. The position requires a well-rounded and motivated individual that can develop a strategy and plan that aligns with the growth objectives of the company. We are seeking an individual who has the capacity and understanding of new methods and tools to support growth of the company. The position also requires an individual with leadership skills and solid communication skills given the need to interact with customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and manage the operations team/resources

  • Manage Regional Field Engineering teams
  • Manage Central Network Operations team
  • Identify, manage and optimize in-house and external support resources
  • Provide backup for Field Technicians and Network Ops, as needed
  • Direct reports include Field Technicians and Network Operations

Develop and Execute Operations Strategy

  • Develop a comprehensive operations strategy that ensures delivery of quality service
  • Develop staffing and resource plans that align with growth of the company
  • Assess and develop a Partnership Program (as neeeded)
  • Assess and implement tools that provide leverage
  • Develop processes, templates and documentation to support the growth of the business
  • Develop and implement training programs for internal and external resources
  • Bring consistency for internal and external communication to WIG executive team and customers
  • Daily management and Optimization of Network Operations
  • Performance Management
  • Alarm Management
  • Spare Part Management
  • Maintenance

Support Sales and interact with Customers as it relates to Network Operations

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with the use of process automation and AI preferred, but not required
  • Experience with the operations of managed WiFi, indoor cellular or cellular networks preferred, but not required
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)
  • BS in Engineering preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 5 years of professional work experience
  • Experience with wireless networks and technologies is preferred

  • Travel will be required
  • Some after hour work will be required
  • On-call, as needed
