WIG operates across the United Kingdom, United States, the Netherlands, and Ireland. The company is headquartered in Edinburgh, and WIG US is headquartered in Dallas.<\/p>\n

WIG is looking for a motivated, results-driven professional to join the team as a Sales\/Business Development Manager.<\/p>\n

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and advancing opportunities that align with WIG\u2019s strategic objectives. You will work closely with prospective customers and internal stakeholders to shape solutions that address evolving connectivity needs.<\/p>\n

About the role<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n

This customer-facing role is responsible for identifying and advancing opportunities where organizations need to improve the quality and reliability of public cellular service within buildings and other indoor environments. The Sales\/Business Development Manager will engage customers in a consultative sales process, assess business needs, position tailored service offerings, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to move opportunities through the sales cycle and into delivery.<\/p>\n

Primary responsibilities<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and territory plans that support personal performance goals and align with broader company objectives.<\/li>\n
  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through cold outreach, partner engagement, and targeted lead-generation efforts.<\/li>\n
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships that create opportunities for repeat business, expansion, and reference selling.<\/li>\n
  • Evaluate customer business needs, define solution requirements, and work cross-functionally to develop and deliver effective proposals.<\/li>\n
  • Partner with internal teams, including engineering, construction, finance, and legal, to advance new business opportunities efficiently and effectively.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with engineering, implementation, and operations teams to support successful service delivery and ensure a seamless customer experience.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor market activity and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and inform strategic sales efforts.<\/li>\n
  • Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, customer needs, and potential product or service enhancements.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare sales updates, forecasts, and reports for company leadership.<\/li>\n
  • Support channel development strategies and related partner programs in coordination with the broader sales team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills and Qualifications<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited university required; an advanced degree in business or a technical field is preferred.<\/li>\n
    • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in business development is preferred.<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with commercial real estate\/hospitality REITs, healthcare IDN\u2019s and Fortune 500 companies is preferred.<\/li>\n
    • Experience selling into enterprise IT organizations is a plus.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated account management and relationship-building skills, with a track record of putting clients first and creating mutually beneficial outcomes for customers and stakeholders.<\/li>\n
    • Creative, driven, self-motivated, and naturally curious, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages simultaneously.<\/li>\n
    • Strong organizational skills, including planning, prioritization, and attention to detail.<\/li>\n
    • Experience working with channel partners and\/or resellers.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to influence and motivate sales partners to promote and sell WIG services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Other Considerations<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.<\/li>\n
      • Occasional travel is required, along with occasional after-hours internal and client meetings. This position is for the Northeast US \u2013 ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT – Candidate must live in one of these states.<\/li>\n
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HubSpot CRM is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
